Spiders has released its first-ever Syracuse University Snapchat geofilter, just in time for fall semester! This filter was designed by Spider Beth Fritzinger ’15. To enable filters on your phone follow this tutorial by Snapchat. Be sure to check out the new geofilter when you’re on main campus and keep an eye out for more filters coming soon.

Spider Michael Brandt ‘15 recently accepted a job as a junior web developer with Booj in Denver, Colorado. On Friday, April 17, Spiders celebrated the graduating seniors during a potluck lunch. With plenty of food to choose from, mac’n’cheese by Marcus McLean ’14 and empanadas by Lyndsey Jimenez ’15 took top prizes for favorite dish and best effort, respectively.
Following a lengthy and delicious lunch, the afternoon’s events ended with the presentation of special Spiders diplomas to each departing Spider. As a “thank you,” the soon-to-be graduates presented Jono with an inflatable Minion. Needless to say, the boss loved it! Continue Reading
As part of the Spiders Guest Lecture Series, Courtland Alex, Agent Development Center Manager for State Farm, former certified financial planner, and father of Spider Claire Alex, gave a talk titled “Planning for Your Financial Future.” The purpose of this lecture was to inform Spiders about how to plan for retirement, and make them aware of how the financial decisions they make today will affect their future. Many Spiders had never considered their financial future prior to Alex’s presentation.
